A hot weather day was predicted (almost 100 deg F) on the day of the drive. Rather than cancel, several rigs showed up at the equestrian parking lot with horses, vehicles, drivers and passengers two hours earlier than orivinally planned. The drive ended up being quite pleasent, on the shaded trails of the Lake Elmo Park Reserve, before the heat of the day took over. The potluck was delicious, as always, and everyone was packed up and heading home before the temperature became too uncomfortable.
