February and early March provided plenty of snow for the Sleigh Party at the Shire Hill Farm. The weather was cool but sunny and a good crowd showed up for rides and socializing. A team of Shires and a team of Percherons pulled sleighs around the field and through Ken's Woods. Everyone who wanted a ride on a sleigh was accomodated. The snow was deep and the horses were happy to stop after two trips around the field. Food and conversation was plentiful at the potluck.
