It was a sunny, hot, and humid Minnesota summer day, when three rigs pulled by Percherons and Shires, and about 20 passengers, including club members and guests, headed down the road toward Square Lake. Due to the hot weather, the drive was shortened a bit. However, the shorter drive gave everyone a chance to admire a new Shire colt, born 2 weeks earlier at Shire Hill Farm. What a beauty! A delicious potluck and good conversation followed by the garage and on the decks.
