The afternoon was one of the hottest of the summer, but a few dedicated members showed up for the Kowalchyk drive through the Wisconsin hillside. Two rigs went out, traveling along the trout stream that runs through the Kowalchyk farm, and then around a short loop along roadways. Several riders came equiped with umbrellas for protection from the hot sun, making the rigs look quite colorful. After the drive, a few more members showed up for the potluck, and good conversation. Sitting in the shade in a nice breese made the summer heat feel quite tolerable.
